Welcome to my website which outlines both my HR experience and the quality HR products on offer from Guinan HR Consulting.
I gained my HR experience with Bank of Ireland where I held a variety of roles across all the disciplines of HR. I completed my career in banking as Director of HR for the Retail Division of Bank of Ireland.
Since 2003 I have successfully established and run my own HR Consultancy and work with a range of organisations in both the public and private sectors (see list of clients). I strongly believe in assisting organisations to maximise their success through developing both a dynamic people strategy and their people to the maximum of their ability.
My key product offerings are in the areas of overall HR strategy, team development, assessment and selection, executive coaching, employee relations and change management.
I hold a B.Comm and Dip. Psych from UCD and have attended the Executive Development Programme in University of Michigan. I have extensive experience lecturing in the IMI/DCU and at a variety of HR conferences. I am a chartered member of the Institute of Personnel Management for over 30 years.
I am accredited to use a variety of psychometric instruments e.g. Facet5 Personality instrument, MBTI, OPQ, Belbin team type and Emotional Intelligence Questionnaires and 360 Instruments.
I believe passionately in the power of people to significantly contribute to the success of organisations once they benefit from positive leadership, involvement in the business and personal development.
